Tapetex 67 - Nonwoven

March 8, 2018

During the Heimtextil our newest collection, Tapetex 67 - Nonwoven, has been successfully launched.

Since 1975 Tapetex transfers sustainable raw materials into wallcovering for the international design community and today Tapetex is considered as the Master in Natural Textile Wallcovering.

This nonwoven collection aims to show:
  • The simplicity in the complexity of sustainable raw materials
  • A breakdown of the classics to re-invent the patterns of tomorrow
  • A mixture of different techniques, fusing the industrial with the handmade
  • Cutting-edge technology transported into daily life

The composition of the nonwoven used in all 195 items is FSC certified woodpulp reinforced with polyester for dimensional stability. The manufacture of woodpulp extracts the natural fibres found in trees of the carefully managed Scandinavian forests. These fibres are used for producing paper, cardboard boxes, etc.

Tapetex transfers these sustainable raw materials into wallcovering.

Currently all material is stock and samplebooks are in production, scheduled to be available on the market by the end of March.
Specifications and pictures will be available on the website by the end of March as well so stay tuned!
